Wet Felted Hat Using a Resist Shape
This is a one-day workshop in which the students will learn to make a hat using a resist to make a 3D shape. This technique is also used to make bags, cat caves and vessels. We will also lean how to use the resist as a design element to ad texture and embellishment to the hat. I will show you the basic techniques that will help you in the future to make your own creations.
We will have a potluck lunch, giving everyone time to socialize with the instructor and fellow students.
What to bring:
- Something to share for the potluck lunch
- Personal beverages and snacks
- Layered clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty
- Notebook and camera if desired
